Membership in the MSC is the best way to keep informed about these and other events. Active Members Needed!! There are many ways you can be an active member of the MSC. Your help is needed with preseason trail cleanup, Fast Track, the Lanternloppet and the Beaver Dam Race. There are many opportunities for you to become involved in your ski club. Contact a board member, come to a meeting, or go online to volunteer. GET INVOLVED!
6th Annual Ski Swap and Sale
Bring your gently used or out grown equipment to our sixth annual swap, Sunday November 20st from 1pm to 3pm at the Vasaloppet Nordic Ski Center. Drop off your used equipment between 11am and noon and then eat a pancake breakfast, donations acce Fitzharris Ski and Sport Shop of St. Cloud and The Outdoor Edge of Cambridge will be on hand with some special deals on new and used equipment. Fast Track our goals are to introduce young people to the lifelong sport of
cross-country skiing with all of its recreational, social, fitness and
competitive opportunities.
The LanternLoppet
One of the most magical evenings you will ever have on your skis. Travel the 5.2km Lanternloppet loop while the glow of over 150 lanterns light your trail. The Lanterns are lit at dusk with many families bringing hot dogs to roast over one of the many open fires. This is a very unique experience for skiers old and new.
The Beaver Dam Classic
Returning to the roots of cross country skiing, the Beaver Dam Classic is a race for non-skaters. The start and finish are near the Mora Ski Club Lodge and moves through the flat to gently rolling terrain, through old growth forest and frozen swamps.

The MSC board of directors meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Nordic Center Garage. Dates of board meetings are included on our calendar.
